Hello,
I have also just purchased the English-Korean Dictionary for Palm OS, and my registration key does not work either. I emailed customer service two days ago, but have not received a reply. I am very disappointed.

I hope I receive a response soon as I am moving to Korea next week and will most definitely need to use it!

Good luck! I bought the Bulgarian Language suite 2008 and it took 6 weeks to get one replacement key and still trying to get the other! The one I did get was after I came back from Bulgaria and they still send me emails to sell me more software!!

In my case the software required a '*key' registration code but I was provided with a different one beginning with 'p'. Eventually I got one for the phrases but still waiting for one for the dictionary - now three months!

It is very depressing but frankly they seem to have little grip on technology - the reply I'm writing is headed 'New Topic' but it will appear as a reply!

If they treat everyone the same way I wonder if they ever get repeat business....

Typically it takes 1-2 business days to receive the feedback from customer support.

Well I'm glad to get things working so at the end of the day that is what I needed! It is curious though that the the 2008 Bulgarian dictionary doesn't appear to speak Bulgarian, a phonetically simple language unlike English (which it does speak). Is this correct please as the advertising appears to indicate that it should? The phrases are spoken in Bulgarian in the phases software.

Bulgarian dictionary speaks English only. It is indicated on the top of the product info page with the red color-Pronunciation: English

Bulgarian talking phrasebook and talking Picture dictionary speak both ways.
You may use Search Wizard in the left-bar menu at www.lingvosoft.com to select required items.

It is a shame that although the phases are spoken in Bulgarian the dictionary does not speak Bulgarian, although it speaks English.

Anyway it now works but it is ssoooooooooo slow to look up words - sometimes minutes - to make it functionally useless which is a shame. I have a 400 Mhz processor which is not the fastest but I have installed the program on a fast card, any suggestions for speeding it up please?

'Languages of the World' software seems to do far more, and quicker.

Its a quite strange..
Plz - post your device specs and also first 4 strings from readme.txt file.

readme.txt located in Start Menu\Programs\LingvoSoft\..

Device is HP iPaq rx5935 with the Samsung SC32443 processor revision A (ARM920T S3C2442A) running WM 5.1.195.

There is no text file in the Dictionary Folder, is there anywhere else I can look? The folder has only four items - config, Id_2008, lingvosoft-dictionary-pocketpc-engbul-t-41 and product. As I am not at home I can't look on the PC.

Actually I believe that I installed the software on the device, not a card.

Thats what I meant, sorry for misunderstood
- readme.txt located in Destop PC installation folder.

All specs anyway rather good, still I have only suggestion for you to soft reboot pocket pc and start dectionary as first program..

I find it hard to believe that people have been complaining about registration problems with their key files for over a year now and that this has not been resolved. Someone is not doing their job.

Unfortunately most of them don't do their jobs from the programmers to the support team. Even the forum is flaky, at the moment for example the header says 'New Topic' when posting a reply. They were told about this over a year ago.

The software is so slow as to be functionally useless, can't speak the language it is translating (Bulgarian - a language which is phonetically constant), comes with a registration file in the wrong format and the company's support is even worse than the software!

Click on 'Reply' it comes up with a window headed 'New Topic' - I'm looking at it now.

The registration issue took 2 months to get resolved.

If you read the rest of the tread above you will see I was asked what the specification of my PPC was, I replied with the information as requested and 4 months later there is no answer, so don't talk to me about 2 days. And while you're at it look at all the other posts in the forum that have never has a reply....
