This does seem to fix the problem with epub font sizing and margins that I found in 35g. However, I did have to go to Settings->System Settings->Restore Defaults to see the fix in the ebooks I had previously opened.
It is still a pain to cycle through all the font sizes with the font button, but at least it starts with the smallest font size first now... and the font sizes are more appropriate.
Thanks for the quick update.

I don't seem to have any files in .adobe-digital-editions. How do I get device.xml to be generated to that Adobe Digital Editions recognizes my reader again? I had it at one time with version 35a.

Oops. I seem to have blank epubs.
The reflow starts off for pdf's which is good - not sure if it remembers previous settings.
Have had to go back to 35a.

I also had to do the following: Settings->System Settings->Restore Defaults ... to avoid some blank and oddly formatted epubs.
But I seem to have lost my ADE activation information so make sure you have it backed up somewhere.

Thanks tselling for the suggestion about the settings.
I retried 0.35k and followed your recommendation and all was well with the epubs! And yes the changes made to fonts or reflow seem to "stick" when the book is opened next time.
So all looks very promising after initially being disappointed.
Tselling I don't use restricted adobe files so I can't comment on that.
Thanks again for your help.

Hey Guys,
Thanks for the feedback! Im going to start a list of contributors in the beta testing thread. I was using the jetBook for a while and this is what i am seeing.
NOTE: I am using a legal, DRM ePub file. No modifications with calibre.
Improvements:
1) Margins are fixed
2) No problems with re-flow.
3) Landscape mode works.
4) TOC looks ok.
Difficulties:
1) Font size works but you cant chose the size like with .txt files, you just have to press it until the font is what you want (is this normal for ePub files like it is for PDF?)
2) Only once, i entered my name and CC info fliped through a few pages, exited, re-entered the book and had to enter my Name and CC info again. This only happened once and i cant get it to happen again. Any one else see this?

Figured this out. In an ePub book you can go to menu button > settings > zoom rate.

Hi Jerry
Can you ask the programmer to bring back the ability to turn a page with right/left arrow key? This function was removed when I upgraded from 0.33g. Depending on how the jetbook is held, some may find it a lot easier to flip a page with the arrow keys.
Second, is it possible to make a pop-up for font-size selection (zoom) when the magnifier button is clicked instead of having to cycle through all available zoom levels?

I agree with both requests. Additionally it would be nice if changing from vertical to horizontal rotation allowed the page turn buttons on the right (ie have 0, 90, 180, 270 degrees of rotation instead of just 0 and 90).

I'm not too familiar with this. This is ADE software that is an intermediate between the jetBook and the PC? And what you are saying is it used to recognize the jetBook but now it does not? Please let me now if i understand correct and i will ask a tech person about this.
Thanks again for all of the feedback.
Yes, ADE is how you get EPUB books from Kobo, Ebooks.com, and Sony ebook store among others (but not Barnes & Nobles) ... and also for Library books. You have to download the ebook with Adobe Digital Editions (ADE) to your PC and then you can copy the epub file to an authorized device. ADE looks in an ebook devices .adobe-digital-editions folder for device.xml and then from that creates an activation.xml file. These

Not sure which file type you read from, but I have discovered that pdf's work with the up/down arrow keys if that is of any help. (it may just be with reflow off - which is what most of mine are).
Other concerns I have relate to TOC. It seems quite good with epub, however with pdf it is variable with many blank lines and rogue entries. Sometimes correct entries will appear when paging on and then back in the TOC dialogue.
Also the TOC still does not cope with sublevel TOC entries. This for me was a super capability of the previous reader (Foxit) used in earlier firmware (35d and less). If a pdf file has this now it freezes when you access the TOC.
Another odd thing is that the #8 key does not work to select an

Could developers correct an issue with the vocabulary: it doesn't work in PDF files?

Hey Guys,
Ok so you are seeing the following difficulties.
1) Can no longer turn the page with with right and left arrows.
2) ADE interaction with the jetBook.
3) Some TOC's may not work with .PDF files.
4) The #8 key does not work to select an entry in .ePub and .pdf TOC's
tselling the other page rotations would be nice, please keep in mind for when a make a "suggestions" thread.
Also when you say the TOC does not work with sublevel entries, is this just in PDF or in ePub as well?
cd_racer wrote:Could developers correct an issue with the vocabulary: it doesn't work in PDF files?
Im not sure what you mean by vocabulary (maybe this function is completely slipping my mind right now lol.) I know dictionary does not work or "find" for PDF's because they are essentially an image. When i get back to the office i will check mine.

Do you mean that PDF's actually rendered as an image on the device? I'm using text PDF's (not created from images).
Another interesting thing that will be great for the dictionaries (I mean English-Russian) is to add a transcription for the words. And the English-Russian dictionary need to be improved with new words from economy and science.
