I have had my JBL for a little over two months. During the past couple of weeks (so maybe it's an issue with new firmware) I too have received the no sd card notice a couple of times. But simply resetting the device always seemed to cure the problem Often, when a device works itself up into a state that is a problem, a simple reset can cure it, so it's always a good idea to try out that before suspecting hardware problems.
