I do have a JetBook Color with the newest firmware.
* Bugs:
- there is no (automatic) option to fit to screen width. This would be especially useful in rotated landscape pdf/djvu mode. If the text is in the middle and there are white bars left and Iright I have always to adjust it every new page. At least keep the focus after every page
- in rotated landscape full screen mode there is no way to go one page back (one page forward is the ok button)
* Feature requests:
- no way to zoom into djvu files more than 150%
- no chm support

Hi,
Thanks for the message. We have packed 2 updates into one and will be releasing the next one within a few days now. Check back on http://www.jetbook.net/update for the newest update and hopefully it will solve these issues.
Also, i will send a message to development with the recommendations for a newer version. Thanks for your feedback!

Hi jerry.
Do we have an approximate date for a new firmware?
What an approximation of the new features to incorporate?
Thank you.

Hey,
The new tentative date is this Thursday, not 100% confirmed on the features yet. I will keep everyone posted!

This Thursday will be hard to hit.
IMHO it's better to invest more time in the update (if needed) than to try to hit Thursay. But I'll be happy either way.

Any chance of adjustable margins being added? Seems like a simple feature that I think would be commonly used. I did figure out a way to adjust them while creating an epub, but it is sort of guess work and I feel like it's something the Jetbook should directly support on device. Unless I am totally missing it...
Otherwise I enjoy this thing a lot...

Hey,
Thanks for the message, i don't see any option for it in this new update (looking in an ePub book). I will submit your idea though. I would think there is a way to modify the eBook itself but i am not sure how something like that could be done.
Maybe some of our other users can comment on adjusting margins for ePub books.

Hey Jerry,
I updated my device but the problems/suggestions on the top still remains.
- DjVus cannot zoomed more than 150% (or a fit to width option)
- no way to go one page back in pdf landscape mode

Hi,
I submitted your requests at the beginning of this month so they will most likely be evaluated and considered for the next update. I will send an email now to development to see if they would give me a more specific answer about these requests.

The (capital) extension file name bug still occures (e.b. foo.ePub ).
There is another bug. If I go in a directory and want to open an ebook while it's still loading (e.g. the 'wheel' is running) I cannot open any e-book at all. Even if I wait then it has finished refreshing I have no chance of opening any e-books. The only way to get it running it again is a reboot.

Hi,
I will re-send info on the first one.
So if you are in a folder and try and open a book, then try and open another before it is done loading, future opening of books is disabled?

No, if I open a directory it needs a few seconds to load it. You can already navigate (and press OK/Enter) in that period. The directory hasn't finished by now. If I don't wait until the folder has finished downloading (suggested by a short screen 'flickering') I cannot open any e-book.
