I have been searching for a translator for a few days now and I have been looking for one that allows for character based search (ie stroke count / radicals for simplified characters), and not just pinyin. Is the MD 7100 one of the only ones that does this? If so can I get a little more information on how it works, and if anyone has any reviews on the product would be great. I'm currently planning on going to china for multiple trips, and am a university student currently taking chinese so i would like to be able to use the dictionary for both class and trips.

The English <-> Chinese YISHEN 888 translator also has the character based search.
