Partner EGR4307-faded screen

Hello,
I was wandering if it's possible to fix the screen on my Partner EGR4307. The device was working fine, however the screen started to fade away and it was really hard to see the letters. In the beginning of the issue, when the top was shut half way the letters look a bit brighter on the screen, so I'm not sure if there was some connection issue or the screen itself. However, the screen died completely since then

Can someone please tell if it's possible to repair and how much it might cost?

Thanks for the message, unfortunately we don't have a repair service on the item but we do have an upgrade program for it.

What that means is you can send the EGR430 back to us and get the ER900 at a reduced cost. The ER900 is English-Russian model with a full color touch screen, speech recognition, sentence translation and a teaching program. You can see it here https://www.ectaco.com/ECTACO-Partner-ER900/
