I just received my new SpechGuard. Installed the battery. The screen says System detects internal problems after restart. Format disk is recomended. Pressing the down button does nothing. Pressing the power on/off button does nothing...help please.

You need to press Up button to accept disk reformatting and restore the unit's settings.
