I would like to find out more about Ectaco’s return policy. According to the Ectaco website, all defective items must be returned within 7 days for a refund. I’m just wondering if that's 7 days from the day I receive the item (delivery date) or 7 days from the billing date (i.e. the date that the item is mailed from your office). Also, once I obtain a RMA number from you, does the item need to be delivered to your office by the end of the 7th day after that? Or does it just need to be postmarked within 7 days? Thanks.

It is 7 days from the day you receive it.
You should send the item back to us by the end of the 7th day.
So you will have 7 days for testing.
