Hi all -

New user here. I purchased a JetBook Lite for my 10yo daughter in May. She loved it -- so much that she fell asleep with it in her hand.

In her loft bed.

Which is six feet above a laminate floor.

Which was not good for the LCD screen ... 8^(

I've disassembled the unit (figured the warranty was pretty well toast upon impact, after all ... 8^) and separated the (broken) LCD screen from the motherboard. My question is, does Ectaco or a third-party supplier sell replacement LCD screens? If so, what's the process for ordering one.

Thanks much in advance for any help.

I know of no source for the screen, or most any part, that could be had for less than the sale pricing for the JBL.

You might check out NewEgg, I understand that they have some back in stock.

Luck;
Ken
