Hi... i just buy a jetbook mini, i have made all the folders and put all my ebooks (in TXT format) in the folders and subfolders, wrote them all on a 2gb TDK SD card and putted them in my jetbook mini. i have some problems:
1) when i open a book, arrive to a page, let's say 342, and close the book, coming back to the menu before to shut off the jetbook, when i reopen that book it restart from page 1;
2) if i put in the book a bookmark, it stay just 'til the book is open. if i switch to another book, all the bookmark in the previous book are lost;
3) if i say Go to page 55, no problem, but if i say go to page 400 (or another 3 digit number page in a book seen as 1273 pages, for instance), it stay on page 1 and the higher counter say me that that is page 555.
thinking that in this way the reader is pretty unuseful, i would like to know how to solve the problem. thanks

Hi,
I know we had some correspondence via the PM system. I didn't hear back from you regarding my last few questions.
To the other forum goers. We know the following:
1)Books have been converted using Calibre.
2) SD card is in the "unlock" position.
3) The SD card is a TDK 2 Gb SD (NOT SDHC)
At this point i think it could be one of three problems. I would tackle them in this order.
1) What firmware version do you have? Update to the newest version here. http://www.jetbook.net/update.php?refid=29532
2) The book can be corrupt. It happens sometimes when covered with Calibre. I would download a book that comes in TXT just to see if it still happens.
3) The SD card may be non-compatible or in the wrong format. Its a last resort so we can tackle that latter if it shows up to be the problem.
Please let me know how this turns out.

ok. problem solved. i think a lot of problems come from the fact that the TDK card does not work well with the mini, but here what i do:
seeing copying the files from the pc from the card Directly the folders have all read only attrbute, and was impossible to change it, i try to use the TDK card but send the books from calibre to the mini with calibre's "send to device" function. does not work.
Change the 2gb TDK SD card with a PNY 2 gb SD card and send the books via calibre, as said above. It works now like silk.
In conclusion: TDK cards does not work with the Jetbook Mini
It is better, also if slower, to transfer the books with Calibre function "Send to device" instead that put them directly in the SD card with the pc.
I really love the reader, small, compact, very very good display, and an astonishing energy use. I used it for a week, at least two hours a day, probably more, and the batteries read still totally full. A reader without useless frills like MP3 (everyone have one now, c'mon, be serious), Internet connection (Someone really go on internet with that?), with a very affordable price and that free you from the slavery of the adapter. Wonderful.

Glad to hear everything worked out! I know the technical team is still working on some minor nuances with programming as a result of feedback we have received so make sure to look our for any firmware updated on www.jetbook.net
Thanks again for your feedback and your solution!
