Had the JB lite for about a week now. I checked out a epub file from my public online library after downloading the required Adobe Digital Editions software.
I authorized my computer and new Jetbook lite as directed by the Adobe program and transferred to my jetbook lite. The file worked fine for 3 days, then suddenly wouldn't open anymore. I deleted the book file, redownloaded the epub book, and re-transferred. File wouldn't open. I then uninstalled ADE, rebooted computer, reinstalled, reauthorized computer and device, and redownloaded the epub file and re-transferred the file to my reader. File still won't open. Any ideas?
Can't understand why all of a sudden it quit working? All my other files (preinstalled books, and my own PDF ebooks and mobi files open fine? I appreciate any pointers. I must be overlooking something!

Can you still read the Library ebook using ADE on your PC?
How is the ebook listed in ADE, is it shown as expired?
Don't know why it would but maybe ADE thinks the ebook is no longer supposed to
be available to your device.
Luck;

Yes, it is still available to be read on ADE. In fact it has 5 more days on the check-out. After my post, I once again transferred it to my JBL for just one more try,-- suddenly it decided to work correctly! Who would'a figured just posting would cure the problem. I didn't do anything differently from before. Maybe it just helped to vent!
Thanks!

You might now want to transfer the ebook file that is in your JBL's "Digital Editions" folder
over to an SD card. (You can access your JBL's internal memory with the folder using
an USB cable. Your PC should see the internal memory as an external drive and give it
a drive letter. Your SD card would have another drive letter, the best way is if you use
a USB 2.0 reader/writer connected to your PC for the SD card.)
If you move the file it should remain readable, even after it expires in ADE.
Luck;
