On 12/28 I shipped a JBL to the NY facility for replacement due to screen flickering. I packaged it as instructed and had the product return code printed on the outside of the box as instructed. Checked with the USPS and found the package was received on 01/03 and I have not heard a word since.
I have written 3 times and have not even had an automated response. I'd like to know what the status is on the replacement or repair of the unit I returned. I liked the unit and have now done without for over a month.
Any ideas on who to contact?

Thanks for the question and sorry to hear about the difficulty.
Please let me know:
1) Do you have an order number or RMA number
2) Do you know who you spoke with for the warranty?
3) Do you have a tracking number for your package?
Hopefully we can get everything on the way soon!

Here is the last mail I received before shipping the package:
Dear John
Please, send the unit to:
ECTACO Inc,
31-21, 31st Street, Long Island City, NY, 11106, USA,
Please, have a copy of the invoice attached and description of the technical problem as well.
Please, put RMA# on the top of the box: “ABH-206-JBL-WARRANTY”.
We will replace the unit as soon as possible and send you another one.

The USPS tracking number was 1308 0950 0000 7105 1019 and last week I checked with the P.O. and have a written report saying the package was received on 1/3/11

Ok it seems like you spoke to Abe. Also your original order was most likely not placed through us or you would have an order number or a different RMA number.
The tracking number 1308 0950 0000 7105 1019 does not appear as valid on the USPS website.
Please do the following:
1) Contact technical support at 718-728-3605 or email [email protected]. Give him your full first and last name as you put it on the package. Also your shipping zip code. He will attempt to locate the package in our warehouse.
2) If he cannot it means we didn't receive the package.
3) If the post office claims we did receive it please photocopy delivery receipt or other confirmation proving we have it.
4) If that cannot provide this info you may need to open up an insurance claim with USPS.

Emailed Abe and included a copy of the USPS Track/Confirm printout that I had to get from the post office since their internet site would not verify the package.
If you can not locate the package I'll start proceedings to try to get the insurance from the PO.
