e15c800 Vs pw800. the same models?

i ordered a e15c800 but a pw 800 has just arrived. this translates english chinese. how do i change to french? are e15c800 and pw800 the same model?

please have a look at the Main window of the unit. You need to go the "Dictionaries" section.
In the left lower corner you will see an icon with the flag. Just tap on it and you will see the list of target languages. Please choose any of them.

Paul, I just returned from France where I had hoped the above model would have been some use during the visit, because it only translates English / Chinese it is useless for that purpose. I have just returned and have read your message and followed your instructions to no effect because there is not a flag in the lower left corner. this is obviously not the machine I ordered (e15c800) instead I a received a PW800.

I wish to know what you are going to do to rectify this complaint, it seems to me you are in breach of contract and should either replace the electronic dictionary or refund the full purchase price without any cost to myself. I would add I am a little concerned that the item was sent from the USA your English web page gives the impression you have an English base address which is very misleading: I now find I am responsible for import and vat on top of an already expensive machine.
I want this problem resolved as speedily as possible therefore a prompt reply will be appreciated.

Jeff, please let me know the following info:
When you are in the "Dictionaries" menu please spell EDCVER and send me an info from the pop up window which will appear.

After that please go to "Settings" of the unit and tap on "Memory".
Please send me the MMC/SD card data.

Please note that PW800 is the common name of all 800 series units. Please note that according to the info you sent me you got the unit that you ordered.
Please try to reset the unit and go to Dictionaries tab. Let me know if the icon is available now.

Paul, at last it is working. The problem was the lack of a flag icon but this appeared after removing the card and rescanning. thank you very much for your help.
