I purchased Ectaco ER900 last year and have used it without any problem until I accidentally formatted the memory card I was using.
I reinserted the blank memory card into my Ectaco dictionary and turned it on, but it said the memory card was missing system files, so I can't use the dictionary now.
Is there anyway I can get these files so that I can use the dictionary?
(I don't know if this requires the CD that came with the dictionary or not, but I seem to have misplaced it.)

Thanks for the question. You can find another SD card for purchase on the website at this link. https://www.ectaco.com/sd-card-english-russian-er900/ They are about $79.95 plus $14 shipping charge. The CD that came with the unit only contained software for the PC which is unrelated then the device software.

Are U jocking? That is only one way to use the translator? I just paid 400$!!! And I need to pay more 80$??? For what?

I'm sorry for the difficulty but as you said you accidentally reformatted the card and deleted all of the system files on it. This is not covered under the warranty for the unit.
Just as if you had accidentally dropped the unit and broke the screen, we wouldn't be able to replace it for free.
However i would recommend contacting the support team at [email protected] and see if they can do anything fore you. Thanks for your patience with the matter.
