Hello. I have just purchased an Ectaco Partner C-4HU English<->Hungarian series Professional Talking Electronic Dictionary & eBook.
The issue I am having is when I try to access the Dictionary I get an error message saying Dictionary Initialization Error.
All other functions with the unit seem to be working properly except for the dictionary. At this time, I have Ejected and re-inserted the
the SD language card and reset the the unit by pressing the reset button but the problem still exists. The included manual does not offer
any other advice as to correcting this problem. Any comments or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Hey Patrick,

Thanks for the question! The only other suggestion i have for this is to check the lock slider on the side of the SD card. make sure the tiny slider on this SD card is facing the metal connectors. Then re-insert and press reset.

If this does not work then it is most likely a defect which in which the card or the unit should be replaced.
