In reference to the original post, same title....As to your response, your assumption that everything is fine since you have not recieved a reply is of course innaccurate. The ES400 is in the trash where I told the "customer service representative" (lol..) I would put it as to not have to deal with this company again. I do however like to read the forum periodically to see what the other frustrated customers have to say. It's amazing you are still in business, but you got my money........that's one thing you guys do very well.

Dear Btk,
It's impossible to answer your questions since you do not provide the order number and do not describe the problem.
You just simply say that everything is bad.
All such topics will be deleted as well as this one.

Once again: Order eOrd-269572/ Invoice # elnv-102856
When inputing certain words the ES400 makes a crackling noise and locks up. The only way to fix this is take the batteries out, put them back in, and restart. I was told I could get another if I pay for shipping. Your "dealer", although you web site says we are buying directly from the manufacturer, said it was not their fault it was a "manufacturer issue". Why does the customer pay for shipping of your defective product if it is a manufacturer issue??

When first ordering your ES400 you had a special "buy one dictionary get
another dictionary free". On the same page the ES400 was on sale for $99.00. This clearly means buy one ES400 for $99.00 and get another one free. After inquiring about the special I was told if I buy the ES400 I could get another "type" of dictionary, not the same, for free for only $149.00. The "$99.00 special" was another special and could not be used with the other misleading special.
You are correct, it would be in your best interest to delete all such topics.

Dear Bret,
For sure your device should be replaced by warranty.
Please send it to us and we'll send you the replacement.
We provide various offers to our clients.
Our clients may choose the offer according to their needs (somebody needs a discount, somebody needs free accessories and somebody needs another translator for free).
We indicate everywhere (in Terms and Conditions as well) that you may use only one discount OR special offer per order. A discount cannot be added to another discount or combined with any other special offer.
You ordered and used a gift certificate code with a discount.
We sent you the order confirmation letter with the amount to be paid and items included in your order. We also checked if you wanted to take advantage of another offer. You refused and chose the discount.
I am sorry to hear that you are not satisfied, but I really don't understand why.
