Looks I'm few days too late. I was about to be happy that Ectaco has not fallen for the "forum registration mania" but only few days later registering is mandatory.
Your Poltran software is amazing. OK yes, the translation is not very easy to understand but you can get some meaning out of it which is the least you can expect for a free product.

Post 2/3
I found some issues so I like to tell them to you:
[1] Numeral system in Polish is EXTREMELY DIFFICULT. Still you are not correct here.
(a) "two boys" = dwaj chłopcy, NOT dwóch chłopcy
(b) "two daughters" = ????? <- MAJOR BUG
This does not output anything.
Writing "2 daughters" does work, though. => 2 córki
BUUUUT...
If a mother who has a bit of a "children fetish" has 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 or even 10 daughters, it is NOT 6 córki, but 6 CÓREK !!!
The reason is, that numbers 5 ... 10 take the genitive plural, and with -ka words, it's usually irregular:
córka (daughter) => córki (daughters nompl) / córek (daughters genpl)
Same with obrączka, which is the ring you wear on your finger(s):
1 obrączka, 2 ... 4 obrączki, 5 .. 10 obrączek
Grr ... complicated eh?
[2] Left to say: you miss the word for ring!
The "rings" you have in your Poltran translator are definitely not for tender Polish finge

Sorry to write three posts, but you've implemented a very silly posting limit which said "Post too long"!!!. Hence three posts.
(or you switch that nonsense off, which would probably be better!)

At the risk of sounding like a broken record ( showing my age) or a defective CD ( that's better, huh?), I'd like to also wonder why some of the translations are so off the wall. Unfortunately though it's not just the free translations. Anyone on the forums who has read of my experience with the ES800 will know what I'm talking about...and it's definitely not free. I guess Ectaco heard that linguists were a dime a dozen, believed it, and paid for a dozen.
As for the length limitation on the posts, I certainly believe that Ectaco has the right to limit the length of posts, however, perhaps a more reasonable length would be better. As it is, often, when one composes a post within the allotted space, upon preview or submit one finds that the post is too long. Thus it's necessary to post 3-4 times to express a complicated explanation in a satisfactory manner. John

Dear John,
Our products are not ideal.
However, our products are the best on the market.
We strive to make our products better and better.
Thats why we update them frequently.
For sure, all of us and me personally as well want a product that provides one main function say any text in it and it pronounces absolutely correct translation.
That would be perfect.
We are working on it.
The same situation is with your product.
The product has more than 1,000,000 entries. You found 50 errors.
Yes, its bad. We are sorry for that. Well fix them and provide you with the update for free.
