No internal memory

I just put the new update (16) for the jbl on after a lot of trouble(I have a mac) do have a windows vista but rarely use it until now.Now all my books and other on the internal memory are gone,also cannot put anything on it except for external memory card.When I check the memory on the settings it says memory capacity-total 0.0 KB and free 0.0 KB.My jbl is updated though to 16.

What do you see if you attach the JBL to your MAC via an USB Cable?

It shows two different drives 1 is the ex. memory card and the other must be the internal that their are 2 books on that I wanted to see if I could put on it, but when I open the jbl to read they are not their to read it says no files found.
What is weird is that when I open Calibre it shows the external memory card as main and the internal as memory card A.

Thanks for the question. Please let me know the following.
1) Can you check exact firmware version you have? Setting, system settings, firmware version.
2) Do books work if you put them on the SD card?
3) Did you try a hard reset? Leave batteries out for 10 mins, replace and then press reset button.
