Ok, we can swivel the text by 90 degree increment, great, but..
How do we change the page up/down (or next/previous)
I find it weird to have to cramp my thumb that way to keep on reading, when inverting the keys will leave my thumb in a much more natural position to do so....
Or did I miss a memo?

Hey,
Thanks for the question! Which reading angle are you using? 90 or 180?

I've just bought a jetbook mini and noticed the same thing. If a firmware update could provide an option to switch the page up and page down buttons that would be great. It's my only (minor) complaint about the ereader. Apart from that it is fantastic and great value for money!

Sorry - just saw your question to Tarko. I am holding the reader with my right hand with the buttons along the right-hand side of the reader. If the page down button was at the top of the reader (the button next to the menu button) it would be ideally placed to press with my thumb without having to change my grip on the reader.

Hey,
Thanks for the message. The buttons are on the right side and you are holding the device with your right hand. That means you are essentially holding the battery pack in your right hand. (i just want to make sure i understand).
If that's right shouldn't your thumb (on your right hand) have access to the three buttons on the jetBook Mini? (sorry if i'm not visualizing it correct).

You are visualising it correctly. My thumb sits comfortably on the page up button but I have to bend it quite far to reach the page down or the select button. It's a small thing but would make page turning more comfortable for me if it is possible in a patch update at some point.
Thanks for the quick reply!

Hey,
Ok i think i understand, you use the small button on the bottom to do next page. Then it is quite a distance to the top button (prev page).
I have long fingers
I usually use the center button (one by itself) to do next page, and then if i have to go page back i go just above to the menu/prev page button.
It would be easier if the 2 buttons for nxt page and prev page were tight next to each other tho. Every bit of feedback counts!

I would actually like the buttons to be inverted in a different way.
My thumb comfortably sits on the menu button (see below)

But I find it uncomfortable to bend my thumb to keep it on the page forward button (below):

So I'd like the menu button to be Forward, the forward button to be Reverse, and the X button to be Menu.
Lastly, I just wanted to point out my little "hack." The rubber band on the right allows me to slip my fingers underneath and hold the JB mini without using my thumb at all. That way, you can lift your thumb to press between the buttons without risk of dropping the JB mini (I used a similar technique with my ipad and kindle).

Hey,
Thanks for the message. Ok i definitely understand. That would be a good idea if the design team can have a setting where you can re-arrange the buttons. Almost like a video game where you can go into setting and change the button layout.
I will pass the info to development and maybe we can see something in a future update.
