Hello
I've a normal jetbook (not lite) that doesn't start or bootin in any way! When it's plug trought usb cable to pc (notebook HP Pavillion DV6 with Windows 7 64b) the item is recognized like a unknow device and the green led doesn't light.
I try to do the following things founded in the previous topics:

1) press the three button (ON, ZOOM, Menu) in the same time, but after 1 minute nothing was happened. I try also 2 minute but fingers get tired!
2) press the reset button in several ways: for 1 second, for 5 seconds, for 10 seconds, 30 seconds and a minute, but doesn't happened.
3) press ON button like 2)
4) repeating 1)
5) repeating 2)
6) press ON button like 2)
7) connect the reader to a electrical plug, instead of usb plug, but I had the same results with the 1), 2), 3), 4), 5), and 6).

The reader was upgraded with the last firmware last summer (i posted in the forum some topics about it and another problem).

The reader is VERY dead!!!!!!!!!!! Nothing light by the led, the screen even switch off, it's like a plastic garbage.

I buyed it the last Xmas, how I can send the reader for a restore from italy? what is the total cost for a restor including the shipping charges?
Thanks and regards
alex

Alex,

just a guess, but maybe the internal battery has discharged almost completely.

have you tried do leave the device charging for 3 or 4 hours (or teh time recommended for a full recharge)?

Hey Alex,

Thanks for the question and sorry about the difficulty. If the device will not charge via a wall charger and it is unable to be recognized in any way by your computer then it should be sent back for a warranty replacement.

Please contact [email protected], make sure you have your order number or proof or purchase for the device. He will provide you with a quote on the shipping costs for a replacement. We will send a brand new item with the latest firmware.

Hope this helps!
