Good evening,
I have just bought an e-book in mobipocket format, that requires a username and a password to be read. I need to install mobipocket reader in my pc in order to read the book, and I would like to know if I could do the same on my Jetbook lite. I thought that once that I can read the book on the pc, then I can send it to the JetBook Lite, and read it there, but it does not work.
Thank you very much for your attention,

There is this terrible idea called Digital Rights Management (DRM). They tell us that it is needed
to prevent piracy or theft of their intellectual property, but you are seeing it's real purpose. It is
meant to restrict your use of what you have purchased, to tie you to their distribution system.
They threaten expensive litigation against a forum operator who allows the discussion of the
process to remove the DRM.
At least for now, the tools can still be found through a search engine. (International treaty
efforts to address that are underway.)
The Jetbook Lite (JBL) supports the mobi format but not the DRM scam that is used on them.
It in fact supports three of the major DRM scams, just not that one.
Luck;
Ken
