Hey guys, I have a partner ER800 and I think I pressed a button to reformatt or something. Now when I turn it on I get a message that an internal error has been detected and need to format. When I select ok, device turns off. When I select skip, device turns off. What do I need to do? thx Eric

Dear Eric,

Please try to reset the unit, accept the disk formatting (press Up button).
Please note that the unit has to be fully charged before to use it.

thanks alexi, I tried to reset and it said "processing.....OK". Then the ectaco screen displayed for a moment and then went blank. The battery indicator light flashed red 3 times and the unit shut down. It was on ac power at the time. When I pressed the on button, the light flashed 3 times and beeped 3 times and the unit failed to start. I tried to reset again with the same results. thank you Eric

Please fully charge the unit. When the bulb is red the battery is flat.

I have of course charged my battery with the correct charger. I think my battery bit the dust and will not charge. I have ordered another so we will see. Eric

It's not the owner that's the idiot. Good luck with warranty. My ES400
has problems also. Works most of the time.

I had the SAME problem with my ER-800!

But after a full recharge now it is working!
