how to load mp3 files into es800

Hi, my wife just bought an es800. Supposedly it supports MP3 files, how do you load them? We tried using a disk with a music file loaded, but no luck.
Also, how do you get the flash cards to work in Spanish? Shouldn't it work both ways, not just English? Why are only a few words loaded in the "word net"; and what does this serve? Finally, the menu says you can make your own flash cards-once made, where are they? The manual kinda sucks.
