PPC version of Japanese Learner's package

When I try to enter the reading of the kanji in the box where there are asterisks, I just get boxes (ie, the font is not set properly). How do I correct this?

I had to install the whole package twice to be able to see the Japanese font to set the Japanese keyboard - do I need to run the installer again to be able to enter Japanese into the flashcards?

Not sure where the readme.txt file is located, but when I go to "About" it tells me that I have LingvoSoft Flashcrds 2008 English - Japanese Kanji-Kana Version 3.7.50.

I also have another issue - every time this program starts up it searches through the PPC for a file. If I cancel the search, it seems to load the program OK, but what is this all about?

Let me know if you need further information

1)
readme.txt file located on your desktop PC in installation folder and accessible with Start Menu:
\Start Menu\Programs\LingvoSoft\..

2) Start up search looks for additional FlashCards databases in all available folders on device and Card.

You can disable it in FlashCards options.

ftp://81.3.156.146/lingvosoft-flashcards-pkpc-engspa-nt.zip

Please dwonload and unpack this file on your PC

Transfer the fc.cab file from the folder of this software from PC to PDA, find it on your PDA through the File Explorer and launch it just tapping on it with stylus.

Once it's unpacked please perform a soft reset and launch the software.

It should correct the problem.

I have tried several times to d/l the zip file, but each time I get an error:

Thanks

Hello

Seems you have problem accessing FTP site..
Are you using MicroSoft IE or other browsers?
Site and file itself are 100% OK, could you please try other connection and browser type?
E.g. Opera, Mozila, FAR or some of free FTP-managers.

I use Firefox, because of security concerns with MSIE.

I tried using FileZilla, but the root directory on ftp://81.2.156.146/ has no entries when I am able to list the contents - active mode (passive mode fails to connect to that directory.

However, I was able to get it on another machine using IE. I'll install tomorrow.

Thanks.
