I am using the LingvoSoft Suite Deluxe (Polish-English) on a Verizon VX6700 (HTC Apacth) PDA-Phone that runs WM5. I have the latest version of everything. I can install the Phrasebooks, Flashcards, and Talking Translator fine, but whenever I install either the MultiLingual Dictionary (4.0.79) or English-Polish Dictionary (4.0.7 the back key function on Pocket IE goes kablooey. Instead of going "back" like it is supposed to, it closes the app -- VERY annoying. Both the touch screen "back" and the left softkey behave the same. Once the install has been thus corrupted, the only way to fix it is to remove ALL LingvoSoft software (not just the 2 dictionaries) -- I assume this is because the modules share some code which is updated in these versions.
Is this fixable? Can anyone else confirm?

Not sure if this is related or not, but I have installed the Japanese keyboard and the English-Japanese dictionary on my HTC machine (Cingular 8525) and since then I have been having a lot of problems with IE crashing. Likewise I think I have the latest software installed, but looking forward to upgrading to WM6 when that becomes available.

It's caused by conflict between pocket IE and integration module on some devices.
a temp. way you can delete this files from \Windows\ folder on your device:
ft_ctxm5.dll
ft_ctxm3.dll

Thanks, Kate. I only found one of those files (and I don't recall which one). In testing IE I didn't have a single crash, so it must work!
I hope I didn't lose any functionality with the dictionary as a result (I haven't had time to test that).

Worked for me too - and I had both files on my device. Thanks, Kate.

Hi Kate,
Would deleting the ft_ctxm5.dll file (the only one of the 2 that I have) cause the Japanese keyboard to not load when I select it from the list of input devices? If so, the Japanese input was one of the main reasons for purchasing this software ...
I just upgraded the ROM on my PDA/phone and had to reinstall all my programs. IE is now crashing - I have noted that it seems to do when going 'back' to a previous page. Whether this is related or not, I have no idea. However, I thought it might be worth passing on.
Are there any plans to update these dlls?
Thanks.

Please perform a soft reset of your PDA and do the following:
Launch the File Explorer, go to Windows folder and delete these two files if they are available: ft_ctxm3.dll and ft_ctx5.dll .
After that please download this file:
ftp://81.3.156.146/FT_ctx.arm.CAB
Transfer the cab file from your PC to PDA, find it on your PDA through the File Explorer and launch them just tapping on them with stylus.
Once it's unpacked please perform a soft reset and launch our software and Internet Explorer after that.
Please let us know if it works properly now.

Based on a brief test of 'back', it seems to work OK for me.
Thanks for the reprogramming!

After more extensive 'testing' (normal use) I have not had a single 'crash' of Internet Explorer. Seems to be a fix.
Thanks.
