This is my third posting. My palm OS CHinese dictionary does not work properly. the character set on the keyboard does not match the set in the dictionary, so I always get incorrect matches. Thank you for your fast response.
Tim

Please give me the full name and version number of the software. You may find it in readme.txt (three top lines) Thank you.

LingvoSoft Dictionary
English-Chinese (Simplified)
Version 4.1.23 RESGISTERED
When I type in the pin yin or the radicals in the keyboard, the correct characters do not come up. And even if I do chose one of the option, when I click it, a totally different character comes up in the dictionary results.
Thank you for your prompt reply. I've been frusterated by this problem for a long time.
Sincerely,
Timothy Stulman

Seems that you have some kind of localization software installed on your palm device that change characters set in system and dictionary.
Plz try to disable or completely remove this software and retest dictionary (best way - on clear device).
If this is the reason you could find solution on its developers page.
(Our Palm products discontinued so we cant make any changes)

I'm having the same problem that was described by the other user -- the simplified Chinese dictionary on Palm does not display entries corresponding to the PinYin that I enter.
I do not have any localization or language software installed on my Palm device (Treo 700P).
A LingvoSoft staff member replied to the other user's post and said that Palm products are discontinued and therefore updates will no longer be released. I just purchased the product today and was not informed of this. If this product will no longer be fully supported, then I want a refund.

I'm sorry to have to tell you this, MCM, but you will not get a refund and your product will never work. I've sent this company dozens of e-mails with no response. Judging from the forum, many others have as well. It is fraud, plain and simple, and several hundreds of people have been caught in the net. The amazing thing is they have this forum to publish documentation of the companies complete incompetence. I'm afraid the problem with continue indefinately unless someone takes an action through the law, which most people will not take the time or energy to do.
My sympathies,
Tim

Dear Customers,
Of course we respond to all our customers. Probably you sent the emails at the wrong email address. In any case we are awfully sorry for the inconvenience. I will really appreciate if you send me your order numbers at [email protected] so we could resolve this issue. Thanks.
P.S.
And once again I strongly recommend all the customers to download the trial version before purchasing, to make sure that the software runs well on your device and suits your needs.
