This seems to be the place where I can get an answer to my questions. I have written to customer support several times, but to no avail.

Ok, my question is about the Greek flash cards. Why arent there any stress marks? Without stress marks this program is worthless!

First of all I would like to say that the idea behind LingvoSoft FlashCards English <-> Greek for Windows is great! I speak five languages fluently and have thus acquired some experience and techniques in learning foreign languages. Therefore, I was so happy when I found the LingvoSoft FlashCards English <-> Greek for Windows because I wouldnt have to make my own flash cards or find and write down new words by hand, everything would already be ready and I could concentrate only on learning and expanding my vocabulary. LingvoSoft FlashCards English <-> Greek for Windows provides a way of learning which literally catapults the learning curve.

First I made a mistake. I paid for and downloaded the wrong program (LingvoSoft FlashCards 2006 English <-> Greek for Pocket PC). Since I dont have a handheld pc I asked for a refund. No answer. Anyway, I thought the program would help me so much so I decided to buy the program for windows, whether Ectaco would refund me or not.

But, after using the LingvoSoft FlashCards English <-> Greek for Windows for a few days, I was pretty disappointed. The program is filled with mistakes. Adverbs are confused with adjectives, no gender, no stress marks, old words, and even wrong translation of words! I have written the customer support but havent received any answer so far.

After not receiving any answer I decided to buy the LingvoSoft Dictionary 2006 English <-> Greek for Windows in order to be able to know where to put the stresses (which is particularly important in Greek). I thought that maybe that was the way I was supposed to find out how to pronounce the words (stress marks), although it wasnt very honest of Ectaco not to mention that one has to buy LingvoSoft Dictionary 2006 English <-> Greek for Windows in order to use LingvoSoft FlashCards English <-> Greek for Windows. Then I was in for yet another surprise. It is simply unbelievable; the dictionary doesnt show the gender of the nouns and some of the words are even misspelled!

It is such a pity, because the LingvoSoft FlashCards English <-> Greek for Windows has the potential to become a real treat for the language learner. Now it is worthless. From my own experience with learning languages I think that a program like LingvoSoft FlashCards English <-> Greek for Windows could easily be priced from 100 to 150 dollars or maybe even more if it was correctly made. I would definitely be ready to pay that much for a well functioning program since it would help a learner so much and improve the vocabulary extremely fast.

If you can correct the mistakes in the LingvoSoft FlashCards English <-> Greek for Windows and LingvoSoft Dictionary 2006 English <-> Greek for Windows then I dont want a refund. If not, then I want a refund of course.

I appreciate everything you are doing for me in this particular question!

Are you going to charge me for any updates?

And what do you suggest I shall do now, with the useless program which I already have paid for? I cannot beleive that the policy of Ectaco is to charge for something that they are not selling! Am I wrong?

If you are doubting the uselessness of the program, then I could bring about a few embarrassing examples which clearly shows that this program is created by a computer or a human with no or very limited knowledge of Greek.
