Hebrew is input right to left. However your program assumes it is left to right and therefore spells a word backwards (and doesn't find it)! Max suggested in an earlier posting it may be a Windows issue but SlovEd have a dictionary that works perfectly. Your software is superior because it has vowels (nikud) and accurate translations.
Mio 168 running Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition. Your version 2.7.17

Version 3.1.55
Also, could you please describe problem more detailed?
Hebrew lookup in our dictionary working properly..

Max suggested looking at "localisation" sofware. My Pocket PC has Eyron which allows Hebrew input. Seems it conflicts with LingvoSoft so I turned it off and all is well. Max suggests excluding LingvoSoft from Eyron . . .
Thanks

Yes, "localisation" sofware like Eyron could cause conflict with dictionary..
We'll try to correct this issue.

In the meantime, would there be an option we can set in the registry to prevent text inversion. That would fix the problem with localisation software like Eyron which does also reserve text and causes words to be inverted when you type in.
I'm surprised that a hebrew dictionary would not have been tested with hebrew localisation software...
Thanks

Localizer have many versions released and we already have resolved its conflicts once.
Also, sometimes (very often!) software uses non-correct methods of localization,
and we simply CAN NOT resolve all of its issues.

I just installed Russian Hebrew flashcards on my Windows XP Tablet Edition SP2 and all the Hebrew words are spelled backwards with nikudot out of place. I have no localization software installed -- one of the reasons I bought this software was that localization software was not required (I don't want to install one for every language).
Maybe I just need to make Windows Hebrew aware? It seems like the software is text-based, so there might be something simple I can do to fix it. Do I need to have a Hebrew dictionary installed first? On this machine I just wanted the flashcards.
I have the latest version, 2.7.30 bought a few days ago.

please refer to the "Help" tab of the software.
You need to change the regional options of Windows.

I am operating the LS English-Hebrew Dictionary 2006 (ver 3.166)on a Sprint (HTC) PPC 6700 using MS Windows Mobile 5 and PDAC Technologies Hebrew Support. I am having the same problems with reverse Hebrew processing as is everyone else on this thread. I didn't know anyone had anything specific for PDAC technologies
