Korean Flash Cards/DIctionary  XML

I have both the Korean Flash card and dictionary on a Dell Axim 51v (WM 5.0), and have had troubles with the Keyboard freezing, and neither program being able to open - even after soft sets.

I'm re-installing (Again) - but
Both sets come with Keyboards, and Korean, and it seems there are some conflicts. I can avoid one keyboard loading - but don't know what the best order overall. There is another part that loads in both programs that you can't uncheck.
It all works at first, but the programs never really close, and it all goes bad after a day or two.
PS - These are the first/only programs loaded on the unit- so I'm trying to get it right while hard resets aren't too much a pain. I had the dictionary trial alone with no problems before I bought the pair.
Any help would be appreciated. (When I can get to a machine with email - I'll forward to support)

Thanks - Ken

Thanks,
That was my suspicion. I have had the flash card program alone for about a week with no issues. I think I'm already on the mail list (and I've registered on the board as Ken)
Any idea of how long before new revisions come out, or when the phrase book application will be ready?

Hi Ken,

The update for WM5.0 will be available in mid-spring, the phrase book application will be ready in approximately two weeks. So please be in touch. Thank you.

I was looking to purchase an electronic Korean English Dictionary online when I ran into your software. I liked the idea that I could use a PDA and I was considering a new phone so I decided to spend the extra to get a PDA phone and install your software. Once I set up the phone I purchased the software and attempted to install. The dictionary and language pack seem to work fine but when installing the Keyboard, the pda will freeze on reboot and a hard reset is required. I've attempted to do this 5 times last night with the same results. The dictionary is useless without the keyboard and the phone is an over priced hard to use piece of junk without your software operational. Have you had this problem before and if so, how did you solve it? I'd hate to think I bought this phone and your software for nothing.

When I do have the dictionary only installed and I run it, I can't seem to close it. the window seems to minimize and an icon that reopens it is left on the screen. How do I stop that? I e-mailed support but have had no response yet and would appreciate any help you can give me. as of now I'm out about $550.00 for nothing.

Hi Robert,

We are currently trying to find out the solution. We tested Korean dictionary on Dell x50v (WM50) The keyboard installed OK after waiting 5 minutes. Please try to make soft reset and install the dictionary again and wait for 5 minutes.

Hi Kate,

I've waited over 15 min on a few locations. I just left it while I did something else hoping it would boot up but never did. Please let me know what you find. I do need this to work.

Hi Robert,

The problem is that your specific device has no enough memory to install Korean keyboard correctly. That is the reason of the trouble. All complicated keyboards (Korean, Japanese, Chinese) will be optimized in near future. Approximately by spring. I would advise to wait for upcoming update when the problem will be resolved.

Thank you.

Hi Kate,

Not the answer I wanted to hear but at least I know what the problem is now. Next question is how do I get a refund and can you notify me as soon as the problem is solved.
