Flashcards (& Builder). Problem with certain Hebrew letters

I am using Lingvosoft Hebrew Flashcards (version 1.2.32) and adding my own list of words, which I prepare in Word for Windows. I can create the PDB file OK using Flashcard Builder (version 1.2.12.1), and in the part of that program where you set the column titles I can see all the letters looking correct.

However, after loading the pdb file onto my Sony Clie (Palm OS), I see that certain letters are no longer correctly represented:

1. the letter 'sin' (should have a dot to the top left) now looks like the letter 'shin' (which has a dot to the top right).

2. the letter 'peh' (should have a dagesh, or dot, in the middle) is now indistinguishable from the letter 'feh' (which has no dagesh).

(But all the other letters seem to be correctly represented.)

Is this a known problem ?
