Hello,
i am a total newcomer to handheld devices, therefore my question might sound a bit newbish. I'm looking for a tool/program that'll allow me to quickly look up Kanjis. If possible not like my good old Kanji dictionary with its tedious stroke and radical indices, but rather like Microsoft's IME pad (which allows you to "draw" strokes on a small pad and retrieve matching Kanjis).
Now my question is, does your software include such a feature (or for that matter, does WindowsCE include such a feature)?

Hi!
Please, take a look at this page:
http://www.lingvosoft.com/Pocket-PC-Dictionary-Software/Japanese-items/
There are some new Japanese dictionaries with updated keyboards.
(Version 2.7.13)
Keyboard supports Kana (Katakana/Hiragana), Kanji (radicals) and romanization (latin->Kana/Kanji) methods.
Hope, you can find one that satisfy your needs -)
//And I doubt that more flexile Japanese keyboards for Pocket PC exist...
But if you find one - please e-mail:[email protected]

Apologies for opening up an old thread, but my question is relevant in the context of the original question.
Although the subject of kana/kanji input was raised by the original poster, can you also confirm whether the dictionaries on PocketPC support cut and paste entry from other applications? For example, if I cut and paste a kanji compound from say a web page or a word document, can this be translated by the dictionary?

"...cut and paste a kanji compound from say a web page or a word document ..."
Yes, it should work.
Also you could use 'wordgrabber' icon (when dictionary run and minimized) to grab text selected in other app and paste it into dictionary in one action.
