Hello,
Although readme for lingvosoft-flashcards-pkpc-engspa-7_1314.zip mentions it supports windows mobile 2003 second edition, it doesnt really work
on my device (t-mobila sda smartphone, WM 2003 SE ver. 4.21.108 .
First hurdle was that cab wasnt installable (said installation fil is not intended for this device). I fixed this by converting 000 file in cab to _setup.xml. After that it installed fine. but when run, it was not adjusted to my smartphone resolution (176x220) .. so only a portion of the program window was visible and it didnt react to any button presses.
Although info page mentions WM 2003 SE devices should work in landscape mode, i havent found a way to turn landscape mode on. I tried to contact support on both addresses (info@ and support@) but got no reply.
So is it possible to run it on my phone somehow?
Thanks and regards.
Peter

"Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition" is a Pocket PC platform
and
Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition for Smartphone
is a Smartphone platform.
And your device is really Smartphone with WM 2k3 SE for Smartphone OS,
so Pocket PC apps shouldn't run at all.

Oh, i see. Thanks. Is there a chance you would support smartphones
in the near future?

Sure!
In prospect we plan to extend almost all PKPC products to Smartphones,
including FlashCards.

Can you please post here when these will be available (just an estimate)? I know quite a few people who are really looking for Smartphone flashcards.
Thanks.

Thank-you very much for answering so quickly Kate - any further information you get in would be appreciated. Guess I'll have to put my language-learning on hold for now! Alex
