The English-Croatian version is in fact a purely English-Serbian version!!

This is a very stupid mistake from Lingvosoft and a disgrace for the Croatian language. Even the flag is SERBIAN!!!! First learn what the flag looks like and then start learning Croatian before selling software claiming to be Croatian you stupid f***s.

Non-greetings to Lingvosoft!

Dear valued customer,

You are absolutely right, in a moment of haste we made an error in the title of our product. This is indeed a Serbian dictionary. We submit our sincere apologies to you and all other customers. Those at fault have been duly disciplined.

And to you personally, as a way of rewarding an effort toward effective cooperation, we are happy to extend an offer of any free software product sold on our website under $24.95. Please, write me at [email protected] if you are interested. Again, please accept our appreciation.

Regards.

Up until six months ago this site was offernig an English-Serbian with a name of an English-Croatian one, and they were warned.
Im wondering is this a provocation?
Maybe my question is a bit farfeched, but the warning topic was posted six monts ago, and still when you open Croatian on home page, the title serbian products appears! I find it difficult to belive that Croatians and the other disaproving of this manner arent insulted by such an act!
This could be considered as a biased political provocation. Im purely benevolent while directing to this error, but some future users of your services might not be when they get taken aback by it!

The Serbian politics at Lingvosoft/Ectaco continues.

They have called their deliberately corrupted version of Croatian (Hrvatski) as "Latinic Serbian" in there language database company voicemethods website.

http://www.voicemethods.com/new/databases/db_item.php3?item=66

They clearly have not even sourced there database from a Croatian language supplier such as taktikanova for example:

The clear objective of all this Serbian politics is of course to stop the development of authentic Croatian dictionaries no matter what the cost. The people behind all this passive aggressive behaviour towards Croatian will no doubt continue to short change Croatian into the future.

The impression that Lingvosoft/Ectaco are giving, at a much deeper psychological level towards Croatian suggest to me: envy, jealously, willing to suppress Croatian in its own right at all costs, fear that Croatian(Latin) will out sell Serbian(Cyrillic) if both are in there respective official scripts, official spellings, official grammars and official words etc..

Lingvosoft/Ectaco professional misconduct is a disgrace.

Hi,

Currently we are negotiating regarding licensing Croatian word database and working on enhancing the current one. We'll take in consideration all your comments. Thank you.
