Can't copy files to jetbook lite on linux  XML

My JBL with (fw 16e ) works fine in windows but in ubuntu linux 10.04 it i mounts but i can't seem to copy files to it.

Until someone more familiar with Linux comes along, might I point out
that using a Media Reader connected to your computer to read and write
to your SD card is a better way to add books to your Jetbook.

Can you describe what you see? I have 9.4 and I can move files between both memory locations (Internal and SD card). To do this though I have to authorize the access via password. Note I am fairly new to Ubuntu.

it seems a bug with Ubuntu.

To copy files to a Jetbook or another USB mounted media (card readers, external drives...) open two file manager windows, one for Jetbook and the other with the folder containing the books. Drag and drop the books (or copy and paste) from one folder to another.

Using the same manager window appears a permission error or something like that, but the error is not due to Jetbook. I am experiencing this error with card readers too.
