I loved my dictionary, but in a few months after using it often on the screen can not see the words anymore, only stripes. Is it repairable or not?

Hey,

Thanks for the question, and sorry about the difficulty. Please let me know the following so i can better help you with everything.

1) What is the model number for your item?
2) Do you have an order number for the order? Or was it purchased through a retailer?
3) When you say you had it for a few month would you think about 3? Or more?

Please let me know!

Thank you for replying.
I've got my ectaco a few years ago at retailer. In about 6 months of using the first strips appear. Model number ER586HT Partner. Now I have concerns if it is a good idea of buying a new one the latest, but have concerns as I am afraid to waste money and the same problem will occur. I also wanted to know if there is s thesaurus in the new models.

Hi Lana,

In this case, we'd be happy to offer you a trade in of your old ER586HT model for one of our new and more powerful electronic translators.

Please feel free to email us at [email protected] to get the trade in quote.

Best regards,

I fully understand your concern on things like this, as it's like buying a new phone that's all hyped up, and you find it able to do tons of things, but then you wait to buy it and eventually give in. As soon as you buy it, a few months later something almost twice as good comes out at the same price or even cheaper and you are like wtf!?

I do think it's very honorable that the company is willing to let you trade it though, as paying a small difference (upgrade fee) for something more worthwhile is always something I'd be willing to do, if it gets me something I'll be more comfortable with.
