Hello Everyone,
I've had my Jetbook Lite since Christmas and have had no problems. Last night I was reading a book and suddenly the unit became unresponsive. I noticed the green light was flashing. I waited a while. No change. No buttons would work, the unit would not even turn off. I reset it, which made the screen go blank, but the unit will not turn on. The "Jetbook -Lite" page comes on and doesn't change, and the unit has to be reset again to turn it off.
When connecting it to the computer, the same thing happens and I cannot even access the unit to back up the data or update the firmware.
Anyone had this happen? What can I do?

Hey,
Thanks for the question.
Please let me know or try the following.
1) When you connect to the computer does anything happen at all?
2) Did you try connecting to a different port on the same computer? Or to a different computer?
3) Try to enter the diagnostics screen. Reset the device. T

Thanks for your reply,
I tried all the things you suggested last night. The unit will only open to the initial screen ("Jetbook-Lite"). This is no matter what buttons are pressed, how many times the unit is reset, or whether new batteries are installed.
This is also the case when it is plugged into the computer. In addition, when it is plugged into the computer, a pop up comes on the lower right of the computer screen saying "device software was not successfully installed."
Never had any problems like this before. What's going on?
I appreciate your help.

Hey Gordon,
Thanks for the question. If the jetBook wont go into the diagnostics screen or into the firmware update screen you may ned to contact technical support for replacement.
1) Please try the diagnostics screen once more with the previous instructions.
