Can anyone post the content of the activation.xml file into the .adobe-digital-editions hidden folder on its ADE authorized jetBook, please? I'm asking it to see if I can find (and then share) a way to remove the DRM protection from ePubs.

To be precise, I already know how to remove the DRM, what I'm looking for is a way to retrieve the device (jetbook) key in an easier way than decrypting it from an installed Windows ADE (which I already know how to do, but it's not portable on other platforms).

Hi,

Sorry but removing the DRM is illegal in the United States and all discussions about it are forbidden on the forums (as we are a US based company). As such i will need to lock this thread.

Please read the forum rules here https://www.ectaco.com/forum/terms/

And a description of DRM on Mobileread Wiki. http://wiki.mobileread.com/wiki/DRM
