I have a problem with my dictionary ectaco partner ER800. I have been using it for two years, and i noticed that last three months to turn on the dictionary I had to push a button each time harder and harder. If i was able to do early, but today I could not turn on my dictionary at all. Could someone help me fix my dictionary? Where is the nearest repair store if i live in SAcramento, CA? Thank you in advance.

Thanks for the question!

Please try the following:
1) Take out the battery and MMC card on the side of the device.
2) Leave both item out for at least 10 minutes
3) Put the battery and MMC card back in the unit.
4) Charge the device overnight (or for at least 10 hours).

Does this fix the problem?

Hi Jerry,

Unfortunately, your suggestion didn't work on my Ectaco. I am interested in your upgrade offer. What will determine the trade-in value of my unit? What would be the difference in the price for an upgraded unit? Also, I need to know how quickly I can get a new dictionary. Thank you beforehand.
