I have just received my replacement Jetbook Lite device after .15G upgrade attempts killed my original Jetbook Lite. (The device would no longer talk to SD cards except to update - go figure! but otherwise was a brick with no Linux or working file system)

Since I had issues last time I want to know.. should we turn off the unit with reset and then install the SD card we are using to update or does it need to be installed while the device is powered on as usual. The last time I removed my normal SD card - unit was on and it said was updating file list don't install SD.. and after this I think I may have gone ahead and put the update SD in while the device was on.
2cd question.. when update completes normally and you do the reset, should you remove the SD card with the update firmware while the device is off and then restart the unit by holding powerbutton 3 seconds until screen lites to finish the installation process or leave the update SD card in the device and then remove while

Thanks Jerry!

Yes it makes a lot of sense. The instructions to update do not tell you to specifically insert SD card while the device is ON or When to remove the SD card you used to update the firmware.

I have found out the hard way only pull out the SD card while JetBook Lite is ON when I had to reformat the card and reset back default my Jetbook lite to be able to read books again.
