Will the EJ900 Deluxe translate from Jap to Eng with pen scn

I would like to know if the Ej900 Deluxe can translate from Japanese to English.
As i have a few books in japanese that i would like to read what thay say in English. I like to use the pen to scan the words in the japanese book and get a translation in English.

Would the Ej900 Deluxe with the scanning pen do that?

Dear Ausedownunder,

Unfortunately, the Partner EJ900 Deluxe does not allow scanning Japanese characters and we don't have any model that does.

Moreover, there is no such device on the market.

The scanner works one way only from English into Japanese.

The Partner EJ900 Deluxe also allows typing in any sentence in English in order to have it translated into Japanese and vice versa.
