I have the ECTACO iTRAVL NTL-2J English <-> Japanese Talking 2-way Language Communicator and Electronic Dictionary with the 2 GB SD card I purchase at the beginning of this year updating the 512MB card I had before. I just purchased the 2GB Chinese card to use in my upcoming trip to China to visit my wife's family for the first time. The Chinese card has a new operating system or I guess a updated look. When I swap back from the Chinese to the Japanese card I get an error unless I reset the unit . Is there any way to update the Japanese card to the new updated look? When I reset the unit the first time going back to the Japanese it booted me in a test mode where I could update the firmware or backup the firmware or run test on the unit. Pressing the reset one more time I got the normal reboot screen. I am not leaving until Feb and would pay shipping cost to return my SD card for the upgrade. Let me know if this is possible.

Put content of the link on the MMC-card, then press RESET.
