I would like to disable the slang lock on my device, however when I click on the box to disable it I am prompted for a password. I was never given a password nor does the generic manual that came with my $500 translator mention it. Please do not reply and tell me to go to the suppor/manuals page and download the manual for my device, as it is not on that page and the Japanese models that are on there are just copies of the generic manuals that are shipped with the product.
