Hi,
I have my JetBook only for 2 months. Everething was ok. But today with no any reason it stoped showing anything on the screen after turning on. Moreover, to turn on/off I should now press the button for a few seconds. And the only result I have is changes in screen brightness.
Even when I connect it to my laptop there is nothing on the screen - no charging or PC connection picture.
I didn't drop it, didn't play with settings, etc. Only normal use.
I tried to press "Reset" - no effect at all.
Is it possible to fix it by myself or should I send my JetBook to Ectaco Repair Centre?

Dear Customer,
Please note that in order to turn Jetbook on You should press On/off button and release it immediately.
Please, do not hold On/off button at all.
You should press and hold On/off button for 5-7 seconds ONLY once You press RESET.

Same problem. I've had my Jetbook only a couple of months, it's worked fine until now. The green light comes on but that's it, no start up screen, no books, nothing. I've tried resetting it repeatedly, nothing. Plugging it into a PC gets me a pop-up message from the PC that it doesn't recognize the device. I've tried it with and without an SD card, nothing. It seems I've thrown away a nice chunk of cash on this thing. Anyone else have this problem?

I have a similar problem, only my pc can recognize the device.
The Jetbook is only one month old and frankly i believe i wasted my money for nothing.
It's already 3 days that i'm trying to get an RMA number to return it to Ectaco. It seams that the emails are answered automatically without actually reading the complaint.
