Buying an Ectaco JetBook in Europe is no better than buying any other Chinese ebook reader, you will get the almost the same product (Ectaco really do not makes ebook readers, a chinese brand is behind that job), you will get a low price and poor support (no support at all or in the best case you have to send the device back to China), only the firmware makes the difference, a big one of course.

So be patience, in the worst case you have to send your device back to the U.S.A.
