BETA - JBL v0.16b.

Glad to hear everything is in order! I have passed along all comments and suggestions to the product manager and the development team. Seems we have a good thing going on now the next step is to make it better!

How are you'll downloading this file? I keep getting a HTML file.

I finally got it!!

download and installed was a little quirky with my PDF comics but they work. and my PDfs that were wonky all work well now.

I haven't yet installed this firmware update because I'm not clear on whether or not you can now use B&N Epub files. No one has responded to djharkavy's question about this so I thought I'd follow up on it. Does anyone know for sure if you can open B&N DRM epub books with this new firmware update?

The B&N Epub Books are Hit or Miss with me. The Ebook I bought works but a few free ones don't I am still working it out.

Thanks for the question, Yes this firmware update is supposed to read B&N ePub books!

djharkavy - try entering your name without spaces. A friend of mine has the original Jetbook and couldn't open purchased BN Epubs with spaces in his name, had to run it all together into 1 entry.

It worked. And all of my BN ebooks are now unlocked as it remembers the hash code, as it does for eReader ebooks.

One point that I noticed in the list of bugs on page 1.

There was mention of a issue with background music!

Dose the JBL now support audio?

I thought it didn't.

Hey John,

Unfortunately the JBL cant support audio, it does not have an audio jack for headphones. Hope this helps!

I recently installed 0.16b on my JBL and it seems to be working OK. However, last night I had to replace the batteries and when I turned it back on I noticed that it forgot what page I was on for the books I am reading. And I noticed that several books on my "recent" list had a large "X" next to the title. Anyone know what that means? Thank you.

Just wondering when will this firmware will be out of beta? I'm looking forward to installing it on my JBL. Also wondering if it would be possible to add another, larger font size. The largest right now is pretty good, but it would be nice to have a larger choice when my eyes are particularly tired.

When will 16b be ready for downloads? Been checking here every day and I am so looking forward to it. Need books from B&N that are not available at ereader and fictionwise.
