Do not confuse folders with files.
The system is set up to show you which folders are available on both SD card or within one of the supplied folders located in Internal memory regardless of the Fat format.
Depending on what you have chosen on the main menu "Books", "Pictures" or "Audio Books" determines what app was started. Each app is designed to filter for what it is looking for w/re to file recognition. Only the appropriate file type(s) will show.
I also observed that I do not see "Books" or "Pictures" that reside in Internal memory.
The ".Adobe...." folder is hidden as well.
The "Digital Editions" folder does not show but it's contents does.
I see the "Thumbnails" folder as well as the "Annotation" folder. All e-books within the DE folder appears in the root of the list but at the end of the folder list.
