Problem with initializing calibration on PW800

Hi,

I just received by PW800 English <-> Japanese translator.

The very first time when i put in the battery, the translator starts up automatically and goes to the calibration screen.

after i press the calibration squares 4 times, I cannot press the 5th calibration square. Even if i press anywhere else it does not respond.

Even if i reset and press the ENTER button to cancel calibration, the screen just shows "calibration canceled" and freezes there.

I cannot turn off the translator or press any other key other than the "reset" key. I've tried taking the battery out and putting it back in but still has the same problem.

Is it a product defect? or am i meant to be doing something else? I've followed all the instructions i was given.
If it is a defect, how will i go about fixing the problem?

Please note that you need to charge the unit about 12 hours for the first time, after that please use the unit till the battery is fully discharged.
And then you can charge the unit for 1,5-2 hours.

There is a step by step procedure to reload the Firmware for 800 Models.

1. Turn the Device on

2. Press the ON/OFF button and hold it, the screen should be ON

3. Press RESET button (pinhole) with paperclip for a second, while you
are holding the ON/OFF button, (the RESET button is on the left upper corner of keyboard panel)

4. The screen turns off and then on

5. Then screen shows: Main Menu,

Load Firmware,

Back Up Firmware

6. Press Load Firmware with stylus

7. You see the message on the screen: Select package

P 800 V and numbers

Cancel

8. In order to select the Package: Press P 800 V and numbers

9. The screen shows the message(window): Burn in Progress

10.Then another message appears: Info

Burn process complete

OK

11.Press OK

12.Then once again press the RESET button for a second without pressing ON/OFF button

13.The screen turns off and on again

14.You see the Calibration Screen Message:

Hit the Target with the Stylus or press ENTER to skip calibration

15.Hit(press) the target (small square with cross) with stylus exactly in the center, which appears one by one in every corner of the screen going round clock and in the center of the screen

16.After completing the screen calibration the DEVICE is ready to work.
