BE FOREWARNED THAT ECTACO USES INFERIOR BATTERIES AND WON'T DEAL WITH THE PROBLEM. THE BATTERY GOES DEAD VERY QUICKLY EVEN WHEN FULLY CHARGED. ECTACO WILL NOT PROVIDE ANY SUPPORT FOR THIS ISSUE.

THIS COMPANY SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO DO BUSINESS IN THE US. THEY HAVE RUN ME AROUND ON PREVIOUS TRANSLATORS AND THERE ARE MANY BLOGS ABOUT THEIR INFERIOR PRODUCTS AND NO SERVICE. I AM REPORTING THEM TO THE NY STATE ATTORNEY GENERALS OFFICE FOR THEIR QUESTIONABLE BUSINESS PRACTICES. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!

Dear customer

That's totally a misunderstanding. We are legitimate company and we are more than 15 year on the market. We are always ready to come to the rescue.
If any of you have a trouble with a battery try the following:

- Charge it for 1,5 hours at least (2 hours is the best time, recommended);
- Charge it every 3-4 days (even if You don’t use the unit);
- Do not charge it more than 4 hours.
- Do not leave it for a night, avoid overcharging.

I have just purchased a itravel and the manual says charge over night?
and you say
- Charge it for 1,5 hours at least (2 hours is the best time, recommended);
- Charge it every 3-4 days (even if You don’t use the unit);
- Do not charge it more than 4 hours.
- Do not leave it for a night, avoid overcharging.

now that i have charged over night the unit will not work.
only a red light stays lit and will not charge at all.
